Makawao Avenue Roadwork Through Friday

Motorists can expect traffic delays in Makawao Avenue this week while crews from the County of Maui Department of Public Works Highways Division work on an in-house pavement preservation project.
Single-lane closures with traffic control will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 12 to Friday, June 15 while road paving crews apply hot mix asphalt to Makawao Avenue from Baldwin Avenue to Mahola Street near the Mayor Eddie Tam Complex.
Motorists are asked to drive cautiously in the construction area and follow traffic-control directions.
