Surveillance Images Released in Kīhei Burglary

The Maui Police Department and Crime Stoppers released surveillance images of a male suspect wanted for allegedly breaking into a kiosk business at the Kīhei Market Place in April.

The incident was reported three months ago, at around 4 a.m. on Tuesday, April 9, 2019.

Police say the unidentified male broke into the Surf Break Shave Ice Shop located at 1975 South Kīhei Road and stole a cash drawer containing approximately $50. Police say the individual is also suspected of damaging other kiosks in the area.

Anyone who can identify the male depicted in the accompanying surveillance images released by police or anyone with information about the crime is asked to call the Maui Police Department at (808) 875-5405.
