Maui Public Works Deputy Director Resigns

Steve Welling

Maui Deputy Director of Public Works, Stephen Welling is resigning from his post, effective Aug. 31, 2019.

“I thank Mr. Welling for his service to the County of Maui and the Department of Public Works,” Mayor Michael Victorino said in a press release announcement. “I wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”

Welling will be leaving Maui to return to the Mainland.

The department will begin the process of recruiting a new deputy director.
