The Central Pacific Hurricane Center and National Hurricane Center continue to track two systems that are on weakening trends.

Akoni has weakened from a tropical storm into a post-tropical remnant low and will pass far south of Hawaiʻi this weekend.

Akoni was last located about 690 miles SSE of Hilo and was moving toward the West at 16 mph with sustained winds of 35 mph.

In the Eastern North Pacific, Juliette continues to weaken about 860 miles west of the Southern tip of Baja California.
