WalletHub announced its choice for the happiest state in the country today.

And no, itʻs not Disneyland.

The report ranked Hawaiʻi the happiest place in the country over the other 50 states.

WalletHub compared the states across 31 key indicators of happiness to determine where Americans had the highest satisfaction with life.

The categories ranged from emotional health to income level.

Below is a list of categories for happiness with Hawaiʻiʻs rankings (1=Happiest; 25= Avg.):

  • – Percentage of Depressed Adults
  • 22 – Suicide Rate
  • 19 – Long-Term Unemployment Rate
  • 28 – Number of Work Hours
  • – Separation and Divorce Rate
  • – Income Growth
  • – Safety
