Roots School in Haʻikū to Host Open House

The Roots School in Ha’ikū will be hosting an open house on Sept. 23 from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.

“We look forward to welcoming new families into our school so that they can meet our dedicated teachers and see our classrooms firsthand,” head of school Melita Charan said in a press release.

“It is never too early to start planning for the next school year, and we have a limited number of current spaces open in our 3rd to 5th grade classroom and 6th to 8th grade classroom.”

The school serves children from preschool to 8th grade.

According to the release, the school offers “small class sizes, a focus on social and emotional learning, inspiring teachers, a project-based curriculum, and a tuition aid program.”

Roots School is located at 740 Haʻikū Rd., near the Haʻikū Post Office.
