Maui Crime Sept. 22-29, 2019: Burglaries, Break-Ins, Thefts

Maui police responded to 20 burglaries, 9 vehicle thefts and 16 vehicle break-ins in Maui County over a seven day period from Sept. 22 to 29, 2019.

Burglaries were up +25% from the week before when 16 incidents were reported over the seven day period. Vehicle thefts were down slightly (-10%) from the week before when 10 incidents occurred; and vehicle break-ins were down -23% from the week before when 19 incidents were reported.

Burglaries were up +60% from the week before when 10 incidents were reported over the seven day period. Vehicle thefts were unchanged from the week before when 10 incidents occurred; and vehicle break-ins were up +10% from the week before when 19 incidents were reported.
