This Week’s Road Closures

Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice.  All projects are weather permitting.

Here is a list of this week’s closures:

— HONOAPI’ILANI HIGHWAY (ROUTE 30) —

1) Lahaina

Lane closure on Honoapi’ilani Highway (Route 30) in both directions between Lahainaluna Road and Aholo Road on Wednesday, Oct. 16, and Thursday, Oct. 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for landscape maintenance.

2) Ma’alaea

Lane shifts on Honoapi’ilani Highway (Route 30) in both directions between Papalua Beach Park and Windmill Farm on Monday, Oct. 14, through Friday, Oct. 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for sign installations.

— HONOAPI’ILANI HIGHWAY (ROUTE 30) —

1) Wailuku

Lane shift on Honoapi’ilani Highway (Route 30) in the southbound direction between Olo place and King Kamehameha Golf Course Clubhouse on Wednesday, Oct. 16, through Friday, Oct. 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for tree trimming.

 — KUIHELANI HIGHWAY (ROUTE 380) —

1) Kahului

Alternating lane closure on Kuihelani Highway (Route 380) in both directions in the vicinity of Pu’unene Avenue on Monday, Oct. 14, through Friday, Oct. 18, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., for road improvements.

— PU’UNENE AVENUE —

1) Kahului

Alternating lane closure on Puunene Avenue in both directions between Ho’okele Street and Pu’ukani Street on Monday, Oct. 14, through Friday morning, Oct. 18, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., for road improvements.

— HANA HIGHWAY (ROUTES 36/360) —

1) Ha’ikū (24-HOUR WORK)

Lane closure on Hana Highway (Route 360) in the northbound direction in the vicinity of Papaaea Road on Saturday, Oct. 12, through Friday, Oct. 18, over a 24-hour period, for retaining wall work.

2) Ha’ikū

Lane shift on Hana Highway (Route 36) in both directions between Kaupakalua Road and Holomua Road on Monday Oct. 14, through Friday, Oct. 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for guardrail work.

3) Ha’ikū

Alternating lane closure on Hana Highway (Route 360) in both directions in the vicinity of mile marker 15.8 on Monday, Oct. 14, through Friday, Oct. 18, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., in 15-30-minute intervals, for steel reinforcement installations.

4) Pāʻia

Lane closure on Hana Highway (Route 36) in the westbound direction between Alawai Road and Ulupua Place on Monday, Oct. 14, through Friday, Oct. 18, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for retaining wall work.

— MAKAWAO AVENUE —

1) Wailuku

Shoulder closure and tentative lane closure on Makawao Avenue in the westbound direction between Haleakala Highway and Apana Road on Monday, Oct. 14, through Friday, Oct. 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for road improvements.

— HANA HIGHWAY (ROUTES 36/360) —

1) Wailua (24-HOUR WORK)

Lane closure on Hana Highway (Route 36) in the northbound direction in the vicinity of Wailua Valley State Wayside Park on Friday, Oct. 11, through Friday, Oct. 18, over a 24-hour period, for utility installation work.
