Maui Lane Closures

Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice. All projects are weather permitting.

Here is a list of scheduled closures:

Hāna Highway (ROUTES 36/360)

1) Haʻikū (24-Hour Work)
Lane closure on Hāna Highway (Route 360) in the northbound direction in the vicinity of Pāpaʻaʻea Road from Saturday, Oct. 26, through Friday, Nov. 1, over a 24-hour period, for retaining wall work.

2) Haʻikū
Alternating lane closure on Hāna Highway (Route 360) in both directions in the vicinity of mile marker 15.8 from Monday, Oct. 28, through Friday, Nov. 1, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., in 15 to 30-minute intervals, for steel reinforcement installations.

3) Wailua (24-Hour Work)
Lane closure on Hāna Highway (Route 36) in the northbound direction in the vicinity of Wailua Valley State Wayside Park on Friday, Oct. 25, through Friday, Nov. 1, over a 24-hour period, for utility installation work.

Honoapiʻilani Highway (Route 30)

1) Lahaina
Lane closure on Honoapiʻilani Highway (Route 30) in both directions between Lahainaluna Road and Aholo Road on Tuesday, Oct. 29, thorugh Friday, Nov. 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for landscape
maintenance.

2) Maʻalaea
Lane shifts on Honoapiʻilani Highway (Route 30) in both directions between Papalua Beach Park and Windmill Farm on Monday, Oct. 28, through Friday, Nov. 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for sign
installations.

Kaʻahumanu Avenue

1) Kahului
Lane closure on Kaʻahumanu Avenue in the westbound direction between Naniloa Drive and Kinipopo Street on Monday, Oct. 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for tree trimming.

2) Kahului
Lane closure on Kaʻahumanu Avenue in both directions between Maui Lani Parkway and Lunalilo Street on Monday, Oct. 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for landscape maintenance.

Makawao Avenue

1) Wailuku
Shoulder closure and tentative lane closure on Makawao Avenue in the westbound direction between Haleakalā Highway and Apana Road on Monday, Oct. 28, through Friday, Nov. 1, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., for road improvements.
