A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect for all Hawaiian Islands through this afternoon as an upper level low moves over the western portion of the island chain today.

The National Weather Service says this will produce unstable conditions across the state, bringing the potential for locally heavy rain and flash flooding.
According to the extended NWS forecast, more stable conditions are expected Tuesday into Wednesday, but a “showery wet trade wind pattern is expected to hold through the weekend.”
