County to Discuss Lānaʻi Digital Zoning Map

The county planning department will be holding a public meeting on a proposed digital zoning map for the island of Lānaʻi.

Planning Department staff will provide background information on the mapping project, which includes converting the old paper zoning maps to a digital format, as well as correcting inconsistencies and errors.

Staff will present the proposed map during the meeting.

The Lānaʻi Planning Commission will review the map next year. It will then go to the Maui County Council for adoption.

The meeting will be held on Dec. 3 from 4:30 p.m to 6 p.m. at the Lānaʻi Senior Center in Lānaʻi City.
