The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for Maui, Lānaʻi and Kahoʻolawe, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today.

Northeast winds of 20 to 30 mph with localized gusts to near 50 mph are expected for the central valley of Maui, as well as Lānaʻi and Kahoʻolawe.
