LIST: Maui Lane Closures This Week

Below is a list of road closures scheduled for this week. There will be no roadwork scheduled on Saturday, Nov. 30, and Sunday, Dec. 1, for the Thanksgiving Weekend.

— HĀNA HIGHWAY (ROUTES 36/360) —

1) HAʻIKŪ (24-HOUR WORK)
Lane closure on Hana Highway (Route 360) in the northbound direction in the vicinity of Papaʻaea Road on Saturday Nov. 30, through Saturday, Dec. 7, over a 24-hour period, for retaining wall work.

2) HAʻIKŪ (24-HOUR WORK)
Lane closure on Hāna Highway (Route 360) in the northbound direction in the vicinity of the Wailua Valley State Wayside on Saturday Nov. 30, through Saturday, Dec. 7, over a 24-hour period, for soil nail installation.

HONOAPIʻILANI HIGHWAY (ROUTE 30)

1) LAHAINA
Lane closure on Honoapiʻilani Highway (Route 30) in both directions between Lahainaluna Road and Aholo Road on Wednesday, Dec. 4 and Thursday, Dec. 5 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for landscape maintenance.

2) WAIKAPŪ
Lane shifts on Honoapiʻilani Highway (Route 30) towards Haleakalā in the southbound direction between Maui Tropical Plantation and King Kamehameha Golf Course on Tuesday, Dec. 3 through Thursday, Dec. 5, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for tree trimming and tree removal work.

KULA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 37)

1) KULA
Single lane closure on Kula Highway (Route 37) in the southbound direction in the vicinity of mile markers 14 and 17, Lower Kula Road to Thompson Road, on Friday Dec. 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for tree trimming work.

HIGH STREET

1) WAILUKU
Lane closure on South High Street in the southbound direction between Main Street and Malako Street on Thursday, Dec. 5, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for tree trimming work.

2) WAILUKU
Closure of High Street and Main Street in both directions on Friday, Dec. 6 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., for a holiday parade. The parade begins at the front lawn of the County Building at High Street and Wells Street. It proceeds north on High Street, then travels east on Main Street and ends at Market Street. Portable electronic signs will be posted in the area to alert drivers of the temporary lane closures.

MAKAWAO AVENUE  

1) MAKAWAO
Shoulder closure on Makawao Avenue in the westbound direction between Haleakalā Highway and Apana Road on Monday, Dec. 2, through Friday, Dec. 6, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., for road improvements.

Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice. All projects are weather permitting.
