County to Host Leadership Workshop

The County of Maui Volunteer Center will host a free “Lead with Purpose in 2020” workshop for volunteer leaders to enhance their leadership skills.

The workshop will be presented by renowned executive trainer and life coach Patricia Campanile.

Participants will learn the following skills: 

• How to identify an organization’s goals, action steps and outcomes.
• How to best communicate with different generations.
• How to transition one-time volunteers to continued long-term service.
• Tips for creative problem-solving and dealing with difficult people to create win-win solutions.

The event will be held from 8:45 a.m. to noon on Jan. 30 at the Maui Economic Opportunity Inc.
