Work to Shut Off Water in Waiʻehu

A portion of homes in the Lower Waiʻehu Beach Road area will have their water shut off on Wednesday as crews work on the countyʻs water system.

The shut-off is expected to run from approximately 9:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.

Department of Water Supply officials are encouraging residents along the road to store water and adjust their schedules accordingly.

Meters that will be affected during the shut-off include those along Lower Waiʻehu Beach Road to Alakai Street, including Kuala Place and Pakele Place.

The department apologizes for any inconveniences that result from the shut-off.
