Lup Yen Peter Young. PC: Maui Police Department

On the night of Feb. 25, 2020 Lup Yen Peter Young contacted Police at the Wailuku Police Station.  He appeared in good health.  The Maui Police Department thanked the public for their assistance.

The Maui Police Department is requesting the Public’s assistance in locating 44-year-old Lup Yen Peter Young of Kahului, who was reported missing on Feb. 21, 2020.

Young was last seen on Monday, Feb. 17, 2020 at approximately 7:45 a.m., when he was dropped off at the Kahului Airport. Young failed to return home as expected on Feb. 19, 2020, and contact has not been made. Young is thought to be on the island of Oʻahu, according to Maui police.

Young, goes by the name “Peter” and is approximately 6’4” tall, weighs 180 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Maui Police Department non-emergency number at (808) 244-6400 or if an emergency, call 911.
