Hawai‘i Out-of-State Air Passenger Arrivals Now 583
A total of 583 people arrived in Hawaiʻi from out-of-state on Sunday, including 126 visitors and 233 residents, according to new data compiled by the Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority.
Air arrivals to Maui totaled 63 on Sunday with four flights arriving from out-of-state. This included 16 crew members, 32 residents and 15 visitors.
In comparison, during this same time last year, nearly 30,000 passengers arrived in Hawaiʻi daily, including residents and visitors.
The state’s 14-day mandatory self-quarantine started on March 26 for all passengers arriving in Hawaiʻi from out of state. The order was expanded on April 1st to include interisland travelers.
