Gas Theft Reported at Maui Nonprofit in Wailuku

Maui Family Support Services Inc. captured surveillance images of two individuals allegedly stealing gas from their nonprofit vehicle early Monday morning.

The incident was reported at around 2:30 am. on Monday, April 20, 2020 at the business located at 1844 Wili Pa Loop in Wailuku.

Executives say a female individual in a flower print shirt, shorts, slippers and a hat, punctured the gas tank of one of the business vehicles and siphoned gas into a bucket.

“The woman left the hose running into a bucket while the gas drained, and about two-and-a-half hours later at 5 a.m., another individual in a hoodie, black shorts and black sneakers arrived to take the bucket of gas.

Company executives called the theft “brazen” and are asking for the public’s help in identifying the individuals pictured.

Anyone with information is asked to call Maui police.
