LIST: Maui Road Closures This Week

Here is a list of lane closures on Maui this week (May 23 to May 29):

— HĀNA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 360) —

1) HAIKU TO HANA (LOCAL ACCESS RESTRICTION)

Hāna Highway (Route 360) between Kapakalua Road and Hāna Town is restricted to local traffic until further notice beginning March 18, 2020. The local access restriction is being put in place to address access and congestion concerns due to roadwork and vehicles along the two-lane highway.

HONOAPIʻILANI HIGHWAY BYPASS (ROUTE 30)

1) LAHAINA

Right lane cloure on Honoapiʻilani Highway (Route 30) in the southbound direction between Aholo Road and Lahainaluna Road on Tuesday, May 26, through Thursday, May 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for landscape maintenance.

2) LAHAINA

Full lane cloure of Honoapiʻilani Highway (Route 30) in both directions between mile markers 19.3 and 21.5 on Sunday, May 24, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., for Lahainaluna Highschool graduation ceremony.

3) LAHAINA

Lane closure on Honoapiʻilani Highway (Route 30) in both directions between mile markers 18.6 and 19.9 on Tuesday, May 26, through Friday, May 29, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for landscape maintenance and road striping work.

KAʻAHUMANU AVENUE (ROUTE 32)

1) WAILUKU

Lane closure on Kaʻahumanu Avenue (Route 32) in the westbound direction between mile markers 0.7 and 0.9 on Thursday, May 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for landscape maintenance.

— HALEAKALĀ CRATER ROAD (ROUTE 378) 

1) KULA

Closure of one direction at a time of Haleakalā Crater Road (Route 378) between mile markers 0.01 and 0.02 on Tuesday, May 26, through Friday, May 29, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for tree trimming work. Alternating traffic control (contraflow) of open lane will allow single lane traffic in both directions.

— LAHAINA BYPASS (ROUTE 3000) 

1) LAHAINA

Full lane closure of Lahaina Bypass (Route 3000) in both directions between mile markers 2.5 and 4.6, Hokiokio Place and Crater Road, on Sunday, May 24, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., for Lahainaluna Highschool graduation ceremony.

Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice.  All projects are weather permitting.
