APEC Host Committee Seeks Visual Display Contractor

In preparation for the upcoming November APEC Leader’s Week, the APEC 2011 Hawaii Host Committee is looking for a visual displays contractor that can effectively communicate the story of how Hawaii can play a compelling role as an international business partner.

The contractor must be able to develop, design and fabricate informative and engaging displays both of freestanding and mobile variety.

“One of the core objectives for the Host Committee is to showcase Hawaii’s unique story and businesses to the 20,000 attendees who will be in Hawaii for Leaders’ Week,” said Peter Ho, Hawaii Host Committee Chair said in a statement yesterday. “Our goal is to communicate investment ready and economic development opportunities available to the APEC Economies, demonstrating Hawaii’s capabilities as an international business partner and a premier global meetings destination.”

The request for qualifications (RFQ) was issued June 30, and responses are by July 15, 2011, with the qualified bidders to be notified on July 27.
