Mālama Maui Nui’s By Appointment Go Green Recycling Event, Aug. 15

The Mālama Maui Nui Go Green Recycling event continues this month at a new location.  The appointment-required event runs from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 15, 2020, in the parking lot mauka and behind the Lahaina District Court at 1870 Honoapiʻilani Highway in Lahaina.

Go Green Recycling is a monthly, community-driven, bulky-item recycling event for residents of West Maui.  Visit MalamaMauiNui.org/GoGreen for more information or to request an appointment.

Go Green Recycling allows residents (non-commercial) to responsibly dispose of the following recyclables at no charge:

Air conditioners, batteries (lead acid auto only), washers and dryers, dishwashers, microwaves, ovens, refrigerators, stoves, tires (suggested $10 donation per tire), water heaters, scrap metal, and electronics, including TVs, printers, computers, monitors and associated cords.

Go Green Recycling is a service for residents of West Maui, hosted by Mālama Maui Nui in partnership with the Rotary Club of Lāhaina Sunset, 5A Rent-A-Space and the County of Maui Environmental Protection & Sustainability Division. It is made possible by community volunteers, local businesses, and our partners.

Mālama Maui Nui is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that empowers residents to work together to keep Maui Nui clean, safe and healthy.
