Vandalism Forces Temp Closure of Pukalani Playground

The County’s Pukalani playground, located next to the Upcountry Swimming Pool will be closed for repairs starting today, July 11, 2011.

The work is being performed by Pacific Recreation Co., LLC in response to damage sustained by vandals last month.

The repairs include work on the existing surface, and the replacement of a climbing play structure.  County officials say the work should be completed on Friday, July 15, 2011.
