PC: University of Hawaiʻi Maui College

The University of Hawaiʻi Maui College faculty and staff, in conjunction with the Maui Police Department, Maui Fire Department, EMS, and National Guard Unit, will participate in a one-day coordinated agency emergency response exercise on Thursday, Jan. 28, 2021.

The exercise will take place between 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the UHMC Kahului campus.   Police, fire, EMS, National Guard Unit personnel, and vehicles will be arriving during this timeframe.  Social distancing, mask-wearing will be part of the exercise as well.  

As a safety precaution, the public is asked to avoid the specific exercise site unless you are a participant.

During the exercise, the campus community can expect to receive “mock” notifications via text and email, outdoor loudspeakers, the UH Maui College hotline, and UH Maui College website scrolling banner.

If this were an actual event, specific detailed information on what is happening, where it is happening, and what you should do would be disseminated.
