Maui firefighters responded to a home fire on Lower Waiehu Beach Road Sunday afternoon. The fire was reported at 12:27 p.m. at 203 Lower Waiehu Beach Road in Central Maui (later determined to be 1356 Hiahia Street).

Multiple crews responded to the scene including Engines 1, 10 and 6; Hazmat 10; Rescue 10; Tanker 10; and Battalion Chiefs 3 and 6.

Fire Service Chief Lee Mainaga said no injuries or exposures were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Authorities say the fire was extinguished at 3:05 p.m.
