Maui Musical Group “Peek-a-Bows” Launches 3 Episode Limited Series

The Peek-a-Bows, a local Maui based musical group, announced dates for the online launch of their self titled 3-episode series for keiki called The Peek-a-Bows.

Created by Gerilyn Emata and Cyndi Mayo-Akeo, the series is designed for young children ages 2-6 and offers a unique and exciting mix of animation, song, dance, and live action which is sure to please the young and the young at heart.

Each episode of The Peek-a-Bows is woven around its three main characters ‘Alani, Lena, and Poni (both in live-action and animation form) as they share traditional Hawaiian values through music videos, animation and talk story segments with cultural practitioners and experts in their field.

The Peek-a-Bows is a co-production between Peek-a-Bows Maui, LLC and Twiddle Productions Inc. based in Honolulu, HI.

“I’ve never worked on a project where so much dedication and fun seeped into production from the top down. The heart and joy of the show comes from the Bows themselves and I think kids will really love and connect with them and this series,” said Michael Q. Ceballos, owner and CEO at Twiddle Productions Inc.

The series release includes:

• Peek-a-Bows Episode 1: Mālama I Ka ‘Āina – Thursday, Nov. 25, 2021
• Peek-a-Bows Episode 2: ‘Ohana – Friday, Dec. 24, 2021
• Peek-a-Bows Episode 3: Lōkahi – Friday, Dec. 31, 2021
