The International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU), Local 142 will host a press conference on Maui this Wednesday.

The event is hosted by union president Isaac Fiesta Jr, and former Honolulu Mayor Mufi Hannemann–both are expected to make a statement.

The ILWU is Hawaii’s largest private sector union with 20,000 members—nearly 80% of whom live and work on the neighbor islands.
