Pediatric Therapies Hawaiʻi is holding grand openings for its new outpatient clinics in Wailuku and Lahaina, announced PTH.

The two new clinics are targeted to areas with limited access to essential healthcare services for children and provide services in multiple disciplines. Its new Lahaina Clinic, at 40 Kupuohi St. #301, and Wailuku Clinic, at 54 Maui Lani Parkway, are its second and third locations. Other locations include: the Upcountry Clinic at 1043 Makawao Ave. Unit 110 in Makawao.

The grand opening event for the Lahaina Clinic will take place on Saturday, Aug. 24, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The grand opening event for the Wailuku Clinic will take place on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The community is invited to join in the celebration.

The events will feature a proclamation from Mayor Richard Bissen, ribbon-cutting ceremony, tours of the new facilities, interactive demonstrations of therapy services, and music by Uncle Wayne & the Howling Dog Band. Light refreshments will be served.

Its new Lahaina Clinic features an outdoor space to provide comprehensive Physical, Occupational, and now also Behavioral Therapy (ABA) services to support physical, social, and emotional growth and development through play.

Pediatric Therapies Hawaiʻi aims to support the growth and development of children through a holistic and play-based approach to therapy. The clinic’s services include:

  • Physical Therapy: Enhances motor skills, mobility, strength, balance, and coordination.
  • Occupational Therapy: Develops daily living and social-emotional skills, attention, feeding skills, and fine motor abilities.
  • Applied Behavior Analysis: Improves behaviors and skills in individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) through an evidence-based approach and natural environment teaching.
