Portions of War Memorial and Keōpūolani complexes to close briefly for events, training

Areas of the War Memorial and Keōpūolani complexes in Kahului will be closed briefly this week for events and training, according to the County of Maui Department of Parks and Recreation.

Closures include the following:

• Tuesday, June 17, and Wednesday, June 18: Coach Soichi Sakamoto Pool, War Memorial Little League Fields #1-5, War Memorial Tennis Courts, War Memorial Gymnasium parking lot and a portion of Halia Nakoa Street will be closed for an event.
• Wednesday, June 18: Keōpūolani Regional Park fields, dog park and Hui Aloha playground will be closed to recreational use until 1 p.m. due to an event.
• Thursday, June 19: Coach Soichi Sakamoto Pool will be closed until 1 p.m. for training and assessments.
