During construction, a flashing stop signal was placed at the intersection for motorists traveling along Kamehameha Avenue, who yield to oncoming right-of-way traffic from Hina Avenue.

Construction began on November 28th, and the signal will be in full operation on Tuesday, January 31, 2012.
