Road reconstruction on Makawao Avenue continues from Makani Road to Eddie Tam entrance

Maui Kupono Builders LLC in conjunction with the County of Maui Department of Public Works, will continue road reconstruction work on Makawao Avenue, continuing from Makani Road and through to Eddie Tam entrance.
Road reconstruction will begin on Sept. 5 from 6 a.m. and continuing through the evening. Those who live off of Pakani Place are asked to plan accordingly as access will be very limited throughout the day to and from streets and driveways fronting the work zone.
Impacted motorists are asked to use Olinda Road to access Makawao town, or Hanamu Road to access Haleakalā Highway. Drivers are advised to follow all traffic signage and detours.
