Kahului man reported missing by concerned family member

The Maui Police Department requests the public’s assistance with any information on the whereabouts of Colin Townsend, 31, of Kahului.

Townsend was reported missing by a concerned family member on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2026, after not hearing from him since October 2025. Townsend is known to frequent the Kahului area, with an acquaintance reportedly last seeing him around the end of last month near Pūlehu Road and Hoʻokele Street in Kahului.

Townsend does not have a vehicle or cell phone. He is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, and weighs approximately 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. It is unknown what he was last wearing.
