Haleakalā National Park volunteer service trip and greenhouse work, Oct. 6

The Friends of Haleakalā National Park will host a service trip at the parkʻs plant nursery in the Summit District on Tuesday, Oct. 6, from 9 a.m. to noon.  Participants will help to care for rare, endemic plants being propagated.  This service trip takes place on the first Tuesday of each month.  

Volunteers can drive up to the work location at the greenhouse. Reservations are required. Visit the Friends website, fhnp.org/service, and scroll down to “Monthly One-day Nursery Service Events.”  Then click the link to reserve for this or another date.
