Maui County Fair opening night live broadcast

The Maui County Fair is an historic and memorable community event- not everyone can attend, particularly our homebound or older Maui residents. They too hold fond memories, along with off-island folks who love the Fair.

Akakū will bring the excitement straight to viewers with a three-hour live broadcast on its community cable channels, streaming on YouTube, on its website and on the free MauiStream app. Hosts Kathy Collins and Joe Abella will host the live broadcast on Thursday, Oct. 1 from 6:30–9:30 p.m. from the War Memorial Complex in Wailuku. The broadcast will feature parade highlights, exhibits at the newly remodeled War memorial Gym with live crews capturing the food, vendors, livestock, rides, games, entertainment and community.
