Rotary Club of Wailuku to sponsor Flags for our Heroes, Nov. 7-8

Flags for Our Heroes, a community patriotic tribute organized by the Rotary Club of Wailuku, takes place Nov. 7–8, 2026, at the Maui Tropical Plantation Front Field.

This “Field of Honor” will display American flags recognizing military members, veterans, first responders, teachers, healthcare workers and personal mentors.

Individual Hero Flags may be sponsored for $50 and will feature a custom medallion naming the hero and sponsor. Medallions will be returned to sponsors after the event.

The opening ceremony will include a tribute from Mayor Richard Bissen, and the Boy Scouts will assist with flag placement and the ceremony.

Proceeds will fund college scholarships for graduating high school seniors.

To purchase a flag, pay through Venmo by scanning the QR code on the flyer. For more information, contact Co-President Jennifer Barr at jenbarr9@yahoo.com.
