Reagan James Miles of Kīhei won the 2026 Klipper Amateur at Marine Corps Base Hawaiʻi Oct. 22-24 on Oʻahu.

With scores of 72-67-73, and a three day total of 212, Miles finished at four under par and won by five shots.

After several top five finishes in Hawaiʻi State Golf Association events the last two years, this was his first HSGA victory.

“It’s an honor to win my first men’s tournament at the Klipper Amateur,” said Miles, a 20 year old University of Hawaiʻi Maui College student. “Mahalo to everyone here for hosting such a great event, and thank you to all who serve in our military.” he said during the awards ceremony.

In his junior career, Miles won a pair of HSJGA State Championships—at age 12 in 2018, and at 18 in 2024.

The Kāneʻohe Klipper golf course opened in 1949, and has hosted the Klipper Amateur for many years.
