Pacific Media Group names Sherri Grimes as President of PMG’s Radio division for all islands

Pacific Media Group (PMG) has announced the appointment of Sherri Hamamura Grimes as President of PMG’s Radio Division for all islands.  The promotion took effect on Monday, Oct. 26, 2026.

In her new role, Grimes will provide strategic leadership and oversight across all island markets, working directly with Market Managers and leadership teams to strengthen performance, collaboration, and long-term growth. She will also continue to serve in her current capacity as General Manager for Maui Radio operations.

Born and raised on Kauaʻi, Grimes brings a distinguished broadcast career spanning several decades across Hawaiʻi. She joined Pacific Media Group in 1999 and has served as Vice President and General Manager of PMG’s Maui Radio operations since 2019.

In the community, Grimes led the Maui County Fair for more than a decade, serving as its Managing Director from 2009 to 2019. She was recognized by Pacific Business News on its “Women Who Mean Business” list in 2019. Currently, she serves on the Board of Directors for both the Baldwin High School Foundation and the Maui Chamber of Commerce.
