Maui’s Seabury Hall clinched the program’s first-ever state Division II volleyball title. The top-seeded Lady Spartans secured the Hawaiʻi High School Athletic Association’s DII Girls Volleyball State Championship with a 3-1 victory over the third-seeded Waipahu Marauders on Friday, Oct. 30, 2026, at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu.

The Lady Spartans established an early lead by taking the first two sets with identical 25-18 scores. Their offense was driven by heavy point production from Milaniakai Padilla and Dillon McLellan, alongside effective setting from D. Keomaka-Wood.

Padilla’s performance earned her the All-Tournament Team, Most Outstanding Player Award. Teammates Tulsi Erlemann (L), Destiny Keomaka-Wood (S), Dillon McLellan and Kamalei Stewart all earned spots on the All-Tournament Team

Waipahu responded strongly in the third set, to mount a decisive 25-12 set victory.

Seabury regained composure in the fourth set, closing out the match 25-18. Padilla led all scorers with 21 kills and 12 digs, while McLellan added 16 kills and 10 digs. Keomaka-Wood directed the Spartans’ offense effectively throughout the contest, finishing with a match-high 39 assists, while libero Tulsi Erlemann anchored the backline defense with 25 digs.

Seabury claimed victory with set scores of 25-18, 25-18, 12-25, and 25-18 to complete an undefeated season record of 19-0.
