Hawaii Recording Artists “Unite” For Big Music Festival

Internationally famed reggae acts  Third World and Tarrus Riley will headline one of Maui’s biggest music festivals of the year, “The Fourth Annual Hawaii Unite Music Festival,” which starts at 5 p.m. on Sunday, February 19 at the MACC.

The festival is the official celebration of the latest annual Mana Maoli CD compilation, which features student, underground, and professional collaborating artists in Hawaii.

The lineup for the concert includes some of Hawaii’s best local performing artists, some of whom have contributed to the Mana Maoli project:  Inna Vision, John Cruz, Anuhea, Paula Fuga, Mike Love, Kapali, Lopaka Colon, and more to be added.

The Mana Maoli annual project is more than a CD, it is a portrait of modern and traditional Hawaii through music.

The popular CD is merely a branch of the Mana Maoli non-profit organization, which currently supports 13 culture-based Hawaiian public charter schools through music programs, concerts, music mentorships, and school visits.

To enjoy an event filled with an exciting musical lineup and the warm messages of “aloha” and “unity,”  purchase tickets in advance, as they are expected to sell out.
