The free Maui County Ag Festival bring food and farm fun to Waikapu on Saturday April 7th.

The 5th Annual Maui County Agricultural Festival takes place Saturday, April 7th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Maui Tropical Plantation in Waikapu. Admission to the grounds is free and open to the public.

Visit the food booths, enjoy activities for children, watch health and wellness demonstrations, and get answers to gardening questions from agricultural experts.

Chefs from many of Maui’s leading restaurants are on hand to offer tips on using local produce and cooking techniques. A “Grown on Maui” farmer’s market is also featured, showcasing many local crops.

From compost to contests, it’s a day of food and fun sponsored by the Maui County Farm Bureau in cooperation with the Maui County Office of Economic Development.
