Walk-in Absentee voting for the upcoming Primary Election will begin on Monday, July 30, and continue through Thursday, August 9, 2012.

Walk-in Locations in Maui County include:

  • Maui County Clerk’s office located on High Street in Wailuku.  Hours are Monday to Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.  The office is closed on Sundays.
  • Mitchell Pauole Center Conference Room on Molokai.  Hours are Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (closed between noon and 1 p.m.); Saturday, 8 a.m. to noon; closed on Sundays.

Voters are reminded to bring a photo ID with them to the absentee polling place.

Early walk-in voting gives residents an opportunity to vote early, prior to the Primary Election, which will be held on Saturday, August 11.

Pacific Radio Group will be offering live results coverage again this year in coordination with the University of Hawaii Maui College.

The broadcast will be carried live on Saturday, August 11, on UHMC Channel 55 and KNUI AM 900, beginning at 5:30 p.m., and continuing until the final results are released.
