Kula Hospital to Offer Cardiology Services

Maui Memorial Medical Center’s Maui Heart & Vascular cardiology program is now partnering with Kula Hospital and Clinic to offer limited cardiology services beginning on August 6.

The clinic will be open every other Monday from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.

Maui Heart & Vascular cardiologist Dr. Andrew Rosenblum will see patients by appointment during the new clinic hours.

Dr. Rosenblum is a general cardiologist with specific training in cardiac ultrasound and arrhythmias.

He holds active certifications with the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology; as well as National Board of Echocardiography Certification in Adult Echocardiography and Transesophageal Echocardiography.

Officials say the goal is to increase medical access to specialty care in the Kula region.

“We are happy to be able to provide these new cardiology services for our Upcountry community,” said Kula Hospital and Clinic Medical Director Dr. Nicole Apoliona.
