“This will be an informal talk-story meeting with the Planning Director to discuss critical land use issues, including the Maui Island Plan’s proposed directed growth boundaries for East Maui”, said Councilmember Carroll, in a written statement.

“I want to ensure that the residents of East Maui are aware of how the proposed land use changes may affect them, and give them an opportunity to ask questions or express their concerns.”

The meeting is informational only, and not a meeting of the council. However, the meeting is open to the public and East Maui residents are encouraged to attend.
