This year’s chefs include Gene Pike, the chef at the Hotel Molokai; Dean Louie, a chef/instructor at the Maui Culinary Academy; and Christopher Schobel, the executive chef of the Hula Grill in Kaanapali.

“By offering vital exposure and partnership opportunities to all businesses, from farmers, home businesses, financial institutions, food service establishments, to youth entrepreneurs from our Molokai High School business class, businesses are able to present value added products and increase their sales,” said Robert Stephenson, the president and chief executive officer of the Molokai Chamber of Commerce, in a written statement.

The “Taste of Molokai” runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Molokai Chamber’s new downtown Kaunakakai location at the Paddlers Inn.
