Police reports state that the man then jumped off of the truck, at which time Evans then allegedly drove her truck into the victim’s compact sedan causing approximately $3,000 in damage.

Evans was placed under arrest for second degree attempted murder, and second degree criminal property damage, with her bail set at $51,000, police said.

In a police report filed by Maui Police Lt. Jayson Rego, authorities believe the argument started over the victim’s threat to leave or break up with Evans.
