Early Walk-in Voting to Nov. 3:

Early walk-in voting for the general election continues through Saturday, November 3. Voters can complete a walk-in ballot at the County Clerk’s office in Wailuku or the Mitchell Pauole Center on Molokai. The County Clerk’s office in Wailuku will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and tomorrow.

LIVE Election Results on MCTV Ch. 55 & AM 900:

The general election will take place on Tuesday, November 6. Pacific Radio Group will be offering live results coverage again this year in coordination with the University of Hawaii Maui College. The broadcast will be carried on MCTV Channel 55 and KNUI AM 900, from 5:30 p.m. until the final results for Maui are tallied.

The program is a unique collaboration between our broadcast professionals at Pacific Radio Group, and the bright young minds at UHMC, who together offer engaging dialogue, candidate conversations, and up-to-the-minute Maui results.  The program provides results with a focus on information of importance to Maui County.

Testing Saturday on Ballot Counting Machines:

The Office of Elections and the neighbor island county clerks will also conduct an official test of the absentee mail counters and data network at 9 a.m. on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at counting centers throughout the state.

The purpose of the tests is to ensure that all hardware is working properly and to test the logic and accuracy of the ballot counting program. Independent observers comprised of representatives from the various political parties, civic and community groups will oversee and conduct the tests.
