Elderly Maui Woman Rescued from Waihou Trail

Search and rescue crews were dispatched to the Waihou Spring Trail in Olinda on Wednesday night in response to a report of a missing 85-year-old woman.
Authorities say the woman was walking her dog when she got disoriented and had difficulty finding her way back.
The incident was reported at 4:40 p.m., and with an air search initiated by Air-1 and Rescue 10; and a ground search conducted by crews from Engine 5.

The woman was found at around 7 p.m. in good condition with no medical attention required.
