Maui Ocean Center Celebrates Makahiki Season

Maui Ocean Center, The Hawaiian Aquarium, will celebrate the islands’ Makahiki season in November with traditional Hawaiian games, food, live music, hula and special guest lectures/demonstrations by members of the Hawaiian community.

25th Celebration of Hula O Nā Keiki, Nov. 13-15

The 25th anniversary celebration of “Hula O Nā Keiki”, Maui’s only children’s hula competition, is set to take place November 13-15, 2015 at the Kā‘anapali Beach Hotel in West Maui.

Emmanuel Lutheran to Host Pumpkin Fest

Emmanuel Lutheran School in Kahului will host a one-night-only Pumpkin Fest on Friday, Oct. 23, from 3 to 10 p.m. The event will include a pumpkin patch, games, craft and food vendors, a country store, silent auction, fun house and a used book fair.
