Oscar-nominee, 11-time Grammy-winner, two-time EMMY-winner and No. 1 New York Times bestselling author Brandi Carlile will headline a live concert for Four Seasons Resort Lānaʻi at the 600-seat open-air amphitheatre overlooking Hulopoe Bay.

Due to inclement weather and the severe weather forecast, the celebration (which was originally planned for March 15) has been re-scheduled to Thursday, March 19. It will begin with a traditional lei draping ceremony led by the ʻAhahui Kaʻahumanu royal society.

Maui Arts & Cultural Center presents the exhibition Washi Transformed: New Expressions in Japanese Paper in Schaefer International Gallery, showcasing the work of nine contemporary artists who explore the astounding potential of washi, or “Japanese paper.” The gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.
