The Hawaiʻi International Film Festival returns to the MACC, Oct 19-20
The Maui Arts & Cultural Center presents the Maui Showcase for the Hawaiʻi International Film Festival (HIFF) with nine documentary films, including a collection of four short films, as well as one drama short film. Historic return of Maui County Fair draws 30,000 fair entrants on opening night
An estimate 30,000 people attended the 98th Maui County Fair on Thursday’s opening day, according to fair organizers. The historic return of the Maui County Fair kicked off festivities with the traditional parade up Kaʻahumanu Avenue.

An estimated 3,000 people participated in the 98th Maui County Fair Parade as thousands more watched the parade unfold along Kaʻahumanu Avenue. The parade kicked off the four-day event at War Memorial Stadium Complex, which returns to the Valley Isle after a six year hiatus.
