Kawika Crowley is a candidate for the US Congressional District 2 seat for the State of Hawaiʻi. He is a republican candidate, and is among a list of four individuals identified as candidates on the 2014 primary election ballot.

Arturo Pacheco Reyes is a candidate for the US Senate in the State of Hawaiʻi. He is a non-partisan candidate, and is among a list of 10 individuals identified as candidates in the race.

The incident was reported on Wednesday morning with the arrest portion captured on video tape by a bystander.

In the State House, Representative-elect, Kaniela Ing becomes the youngest legislator to win election from Maui this year. The 23-year-old Kihei resident managed to oust incumbent Rep. George Fontaine, 52, in last night’s General Election.
